Dear Birth Parents,

It is with great care and humility that we write you this letter. We cannot begin to imagine how overwhelming it must be for you to make this decision. We admire your courage and are honored that you would consider us as a home for this miracle growing inside of you. We want you to know that we will love and cherish this baby. Let us share a little about our family so you will have an idea of who we are.

We live in a quiet neighborhood a few miles north of a big city.  Ged is a doctor at a nearby hospital and Jodi enjoys staying home with our son, Cal.  We have been married for almost 7 years.  After giving birth to Cal, we experienced a rare complication that keeps us from having any more children.  This is difficult because we ache to have a bigger family.  We both have sisters and can’t imagine Cal growing up without siblings.  He is an energetic 5 year-old who wants everyone to know he is ready to be a big brother.

We are a Christian family which strives to let God be the center of our lives. We want our home to be a safe and nurturing environment where the lines of communication are always open.  We admit that we do not have all the answers, but we see everyday as a new opportunity to grow and learn. Our extended family and Church are great sources of comfort, support, and guidance in these matters.

We cannot express what this opportunity means to us.  We know God has a perfect plan and we are excited to see where He leads us.  We are praying for you and your family as you make plans for the future of your child.
