Camp Sunrise is a FREE weekend bereavement camp for children ages 6 to 17, which provides a safe place for children to share their grief with peers who have also suffered the loss of a loved one.
Licensed counselors and trained facilitators lead children and teens through fun, high-energy activities, which provide healthy ways to express feelings and help develop coping strategies for their journey toward hope & healing.

Camp Sunrise is FREE to all campers.
How to register as a volunteer or camper?
To Register Campers for the first time:
- Please select the red link to the right of the screen (Registration open).
- This will take you to Camp Docs.
- Create an account in Camp Docs by selecting the blue (Sign up) link to create an account.
- After you create an account, select New Participant. Add the camper’s information.
- Select Registration.
- Select Register for a new session.
- Select Camper 2026.
- Continue to complete registration for this camper.
- For additional campers, you will need to repeat the process starting at New Participant.
To Register as a Volunteer for the first time:
- Please select the white link to the right of the screen (Sign up for volunteer).
- This will take you to Camp Docs.
- Create an account in Camp Docs by selecting the blue (Sign up) link to create an account.
- After you create an account, select Registration.
- Select Register for a new session.
- Select Volunteer 2026.
- Complete the remaining forms.
