CareWorks – Honduras

Through the sponsorship and generosity of our donors we are able to partner with Alex and Laura Waits of Reach Out Honduras to provide counseling for both the children and ministers, as well as financial support for students.

We began partnering with Reach Out Honduras in July of 2014 when we sent two counselors to the remote La Moskitia region of Honduras where the Waits began their ministry. The great need in those left abandoned and orphaned in this remote part of the country can be filled not only with the services they provide, but with the help of our trained counselors that give support to the students and team members there.

Because ChristianWorks for Children has made a commitment to meet the basic needs of these children and their families in locations around the world, access to our counselors is vital to the mental well-being of the children and ministers living there. These basic needs are met with the support of Riverside Church of Christ and Prestoncrest Church of Christ. The Waits family and Reach Out Honduras are supported through the generosity of Pin Oak Christian Fellowship in Anna, Texas.
